The main ridge of the Rudawy Janowickie Mountains is approximately 18 km long. The highest point in the Landscape Park is Skalnik (945 m above sea level). Richly scenic hiking trails unfold for pedestrians, showcasing not only rock formations, valleys, and colorful lakes but also numerous architectural landmarks (castles and palaces), as well as expansive park-and-palace complexes, including the Park in Bukowiec and the Castle in Karpniki or in Wojanów.
For mineral enthusiasts, this area is particularly valuable as it houses numerous traces of excavations, old mines, and quarries associated with the underground and open-pit extraction of mineral resources, including the areas of Miedzianka and Mniszków.
